well i finally got some money saved up and i'm looking to mess with my engine, i'm leaning towards getting a h22a swap, got a 4cy 98 sedan, im also looking at getting 5spd manual tranny....any of guys know of some good sites to get them from?

lol i'm not to big on engine knowledge but if i get the engine from hmotorsonline, it does come with a manual transmission? and how much would the other parts i need run me around

Ok on a serious note, I do not know about 6th gens but in my 5th gen all I need other than the swap from the store which includes everything except the correct engine mount for the driver side. Some parts may be destroyed forcing you to buy new ones.

so how much did you save? i heard it was pretty damn hard to install a 6th gen.

Once the K series engines get more popular the H's should drop in price even more...when that happens I think I'll go for the swap. My car has lost too much value from accidents, (3 1/2), shit with depreciation due to accidents and mileage, (120K), I owe about twice what my car is worth. I don't have much choice but to pay it off and to drop in a H22

I know of a 98 or 99 H22 w/ manual tranny here locally for 2k. I can check to see if it is still available if you want it.
