Default Accord V-6's extremely popular?

I was just wondering if its like this near you, for every 7th gen. 4 cyl. Accord I see, I see about 10 V-6's. I live in ohio, and everywhere I go, V-6's, especially the 2dr 6spd....I love it...They're awesome, just wondering if its like that near any of you?

are you sure that they are all the 6 spd? they are probably a little more popular now but before each dealer was only getting 2 or 3 a month. FYI: to be the 6spd, the V6 emblem will have red lettering as well as the 17 inch wheels.

another reason for a lot of accords is the fact you are in ohio. im in ohio as well and the accord is made in marysville, ohio. that shouldnt effect the amount of accords that each dealer would get around here, but the period of time it takes for the dealers to get the cars is a lot less. just an idea...but i honestly have no idea why you seem to be seeing so many. possibly just b/c its a good car.

Don't get me wrong, I love the 240hp V6 6spd in the coupe, but I think the sedan and the coupe are really ugly, the front ends more so. I really prefer the 6th gen's looks. But to get back on topic, Yeah they're everywhere!

yeah out here it's more v6's than 4cyl's...mainly because almost every accord we get on the lot is an EX-V6 (i work at a honda dealership)...but for every 4cyl i see about 10-15 V6's

I guess it's just around you guys.

In SoCal we also have plenty of V6's but most of them are automatics. We tend to be buying more of the I-4's that are made because we're cheap and gas is $2.25/gal for 87-octane at the moment.

Ya even in NorCal, they are extremely rare. I wanted to trade my current Honda, for a nice black one they had at Autowest this weekend, but dealer didn't want to pay off my Tundra and Honda, totaling both around $10K...go figure

Anyway, the dealer replied back to me that the 6-spd Honda's are supposedly limited edition and that black one was only 1 of 25 that where being sold in the entire nor cal area...what a crack :loco:

And your right, the "V6" emblem was a red color indeed and it did have 17" rims on it. It look sweet.

Hey you should check out San Leandro Honda. I picked up a Satin Silver V6
6 speed from them on sunday for only $25,700 out the door. It seems like the 6 speed's are not selling that well. It is one helluva car to drive!
