Default 6th Gen Catalytic Convertor Problem!!! (ULEV)

Okay, I have a 2000 Accord LX 4cyl 5spd ULEV (California type I guess).
I recently started experiencing a rattling under the car during take offs and some during idling at rest...
I figured that this was just my cat. con. heat shield (I had the same problem on my 1990 Accord and just removed the shield.)

Well it isn't. There's some loose parts inside the cat.. Great. Okay, to add to it, I have the ULEV version (I'm in MD) so there is no aftermarket Cat. compatible with my car. I have to get the California compatible one.

Aftermarket Catalytic Convertor (not California Emissions) - $289.45
(California Emissions) Catalytic Convertor - $1489.50

Can somebody point me in the right direction as to where I can find a reasonable price on a Catalytic Convertor for a 2000 Accord LX 4cyl ULEV???
Please?!?!?!?!?

Does that price even sound right?

Is the 02 sensor different? -- This is the only way a computer would know you have a new cat.

I would see if an exhaust shop can modify the regular cat to fit.

The ludicris price for the ULEV cat is insane, You may be cheaper just convering you entire exhaust to the standard Accord.

You only need the B-pipe manifold and CAT. Maybe you could also convert to a header and aftermarket cat for cheaper as well. Or get the other parts from someone that has already got a header on this board. I see about gettting a used exhaust system from a junkyard as well.

I'd also call Honda of America, the CAT may be covered under 80,000mi or 8yr emmission equipment standard as well.
