Default head swap

I have a jdm f22b dohc. I found out that this is the replacement motor for the h23. My question is will the h22 vtec head fit on the f22b or will I have to put the f20b vtec head on it. All of these are dohc and any replies can be useful. The f22b is a prelude si non vtec.

I'm pretty sure that you can swap heads with the H22...but I'm not too sure. Help me out here guys.

i'm not sure either....but i'm curious to know if you could take the f20b dohc head and put it onto the f22 sohc? because if i'm correct you can change heads within a series, right?

I did some research on this a while back and I found out that F is to F and H is to H etc. I believe it would be too much hastle to swap with different series. Everything is possible, but it wouldn;t be a bolt in job.

Pay close attention guys f22b DOHC to h22 DOHC they are both DOHC, not f22b1 that has SOHC.

From what i've read there is f22b DOHC.

The accord engine he has is a f22b1 vtec SOHC engine a H23 or even H22 are DOHC and the block are just a bit bigger and shape different. I done alot of research on this because I wanted to do the same swap but like blackmagic said you can do anything with money but for the price youll pay the swap series heads might as well just pay to do the whole swap and get a stronger bottom end for that head.
