Wheel Question ??
I searched and couldnt find an answer. (I also would like to add that this site seems to have the most helpful people of any board I've ever been to.)
I own a 2002 Accord 4dr Sedan. (It is not lowered, nor do I plan on lowering it.) I would like to buy some 19" rims for my car. Here are my questions:
1) Will they fit?
2) If yes, what tire size should I get?
3) What problems may I encounter?
Thank you in advance.

Same as above, but I'll add to #3...
3) It might rub because 19's are a little wide and I'd go with 225 or 235 series tires. The rear may rub on about one inch of the polyurethane bumper and you can just file it down. It's like where the notch is for the screw closest to the wheel. Not many problems if you were wondering. Lower your car because it will look like an offroad vehicle. Lower about an inch and a half. It shouldn't scratch.

19s are badass to have! Strictly for show though, it can be done. I've seen it b4; if you do it, you're gonna have to prolly roll the fender a little and play with getting the right drop. I also suggest a drop, you're gonna have a big fender gap and that doesn't look to appealing.
Get either the 225 or 215 tire, but I recommend the 225.

oofrost, i have a car with no drop and i get rubbing sometimes....it only happens when i have people in the back or a lot of luggage and i hit a big bump but nonetheless, it does happen. i'm on 17" with 215/45-17 tires...i think the offset on my wheel is too low and thats the reason it does that. my rims are flush with the side of the car so if i hit a bump, the outer edge of the tire catches the fender. i'm gonna roll them soon. a guy at a local shop told me it is because my rims are 8" wide which means i needed a higher offset in order to have them tuck properly. oh well, i'll get the right ones when i get rims again in the next year. mine are OLD (45K+ miles).
I think that having the tires stick out a little like that actually helped the appearance of my non-dropped car. I was always getting compliments, and the only thing I had was rims. Gives the car a more sportier aggressive look or something i think.
Sorry this post was off topic.
