lol that suck. i just remember when i did mine i got all the tools for free from autozone rent them.

i'm guessing that they pulled the upper control arm loose for some reason or another and let the hub assembly rotate out from the car too far and you CV joint seperated. that would explain the "displaced" look.

edit: if this is the case all they have to do is remove that axle, take the CV boot off and repack the bearings with lots of grease. it's not hard to figure out how the bearings go. good luck mang.

turns out i needed new axles, they ordered one today and they are gettin the driver side one in tomorrow in the morn, the cv boots were cracked anyway and i was eventually gonna need new axles anyways. Well thanks for the help dudes....


by the way anyone know the torque spec for everything in the suspension and any other suggestions when installing the other axle and connecting everything...

I got mine done at a shop by one of the guys on this board. He did good work.

I did all the work on the car myself. Soon I'll be able to learn and finish rebuilding my block + something more h: It's not hard, The way I see the car is how I see the computer

warning! if they somehow took ur axl out doing ur suspension and now u said u need new axle and cv joint, what makes u think they going to install a new one themself righ? maybe they do cause is new lol maybe they broke it cause it wouldnt go in lol if i were u i'll do it myself is logical things u just need the righ tools and u can always go to a shop and ask how u do this and they tell u unless they asshole. they probly hammmer than thing out some how wrong and broke it or something because is hard to take it out well not hard but u got to hammer

my main question is where is their auto shop teacher during all this? if he doesn't know how to repack a CV joint he's not much of a teacher now is he?
