Default TYC bulb ?

I ordered a set of black tyc projectors and the seller is throwing in MTEC H1 xenon bulbs. Do u think these bulbs will be better than the once from TYC. I will have a bodyshop install them and my little bro will have to take care of the light install so i won't be able to compare. I want the shop to already have the bulbs in so that they can allign them

I'm not sure about the MTEC's but TYC's come with Osram H1 bulbs.

the alignment of the lights will be the same w/ any lightbulb so you can just pop in the lights later

the stock bulbs for the Accord low beams are 9006, but i know with the TYC projectors you need H1 for the low beam.

If i got the TYC projectors, would i need to change the wiring so that i wont burn the stock wires with the H1's, or would i be able to use 9006 with those projectors?

Nope. Unless you run like 100 watt bulbs you'll be fine. The TYC's come with an adapter that plugs into the 9005/9006 sockets and makes them H1.

what max wattage can we run on our wires? The mtec's I found on e-bay were between 100w-150w thats a shitload. I think we need 55w. I guess if the lights I recieve are above 55w I'll just throw them on e-bay.

Do u guys think they will be better than the osrams in the tyc's?? They say xenon, is that marketting or they actually are filled with Xe? I thought only HID had Xe?

So you're saying i can use 9006 bulbs for the low beam but that adaptor will make the beam look like an H1?

I burn European market (EDM? lol!) OSRAM SilverStar H1s in my TYC projectors, all four H1 . Bright as hell. The advantage to the Euro version is +50% light vs +30% for the US SilverStars. I get flashed all the time with my just my low beams on, it's funny. TYC card would protect me from a cop, so I'm covered. (I don't have emissions tests, etc, so the cops around here are pretty easy unless your car is spewing smoke/is louder than a jackhammer/etc.)

(Sylvania and OSRAM are one in the same, different brand name for different markets)
