i have a question for yall. i was thinking about pulling out the shifter on the accord that i have cutting about 2-3 inches off the top and retapping the top screwing the shifter back on to it. kinda the way that preludes' shifters are. so basically the shifter would be about 3 inches lower..... do you think that would work??

i think 2-3 inches are a bitmuch. i think 1.5 is enuf combined with an adapter, it should be all good.
