I have an accord V6 also and my best time at the track was 16.2 when I only had the exhaust. My friend has run a 15.9 with i/e. Preludes 5spds are around the 15.0-15.3 stock in the quarter mile. The market is very limited for our cars. A custom turbo would work although there's not much room for it. And secondly of course nitrous. Either of these should get you down to the low 15's.

The tornado is a gimmick, it does NOT work at all. All it really is is an obstruction in your intake. Its been tested by pros, and found to do nothing for power, or MPG. For obvious reasons, dont believe the manufacturer's claims.

if you remove the tornado, you'll probably gain about 5-10 hp. with the amount of air you take in at WOT, atomization is NOT a problem, and the turbulence created by the tornado will decrease your mass flow rate.

actually, now that i think about it, atomization hasn't been a problem since the 40's. PERIOD.

just get an intake, cat-back exhaust & if you want affordable power boost, then a NOS kit; only things i would suggest.
first of all no prelude has an f22 or a sohc engine. that engine is strictly on 5th gen ex accords and is vtec and has 165 hp and 160 lbs of torque. preludes have h22's or the older ones have b20a5 engines. or a rare occasional b21a1 engine. thats all. so get ur facts straight bud.

4th gen accords had f22's too, and not all f22's are vtec....and your hp and torque ratings are a bit high...try about 145 hp and 147 lbs/ft for the ex vtec 5th gen...but you are definately right about the preludes, were the old dual carbed models sohc? or were those dohc too?

Actually the f22 was available in the Prelude as follows:
92-96 S F22A1 4G - BB 2156 8.8 : 1 135 @
5299 rpm 142 lb/ft @
4000 rpm USA

92-96 Si F22 4G - BA 2156 160 @
6000 rpm 148 lb/ft @
5000 rpm Japan

In the Accord there were 2 f22 series motors. The VTEC (ex) and Non VTEC (dx/lx)noted as follows:

94-97 Ex F22B1 5G - CD 2156 8.8 : 1 145@
5500 rpm 147l b/ft @
4500 rpm USA

Dx /
Lx F22B2 5 G - CD 2156 8.8 : 1 130 @
5300 rpm 139l b/ft @
4200 rpm USA

So your FACTS actually need to be straight...."BUD"

Default H22 or F22

I have a 91 Accord EX 2dr Auto with the sport shift button (im not sure if all auto had this or just ex's) and i know my motor is an F22a4 and i raced my friends 92 Prelude which is dohc and i thought it was an H22 but it isnt vtec so is does that mean its an F22? I thought that H22's were dohc and F22's were sohc, but i think i might be wrong so would somebody please straighten this out. But on the plus side i can stay ahead of him all the way up till around 120 but i never pushed my car too much harder than that for having high miles and not so good tires.
