SHAVE THEM. You gotta get rid of them. The ruin the whole look of the car. It looks so much better without them. Looks clean and very cool.

I say shave the moldings, and there is no point in shaving just the rear handles. If your going to do it, do it right.

haha. if your going to shave, then you should do everything, all emblems, door handles, modlings.

the thing is it costs A LOT. You'd have to repaint things that you shaved, then you would have to get the color to match. There would be welding involved, or you can always Bondo, but it'll eventually crack.

i'd say your looking at a minimum of $1.5k US

thanx u guys for the opinions so far...1.5k damn im not gonna shave anything. i thought shaving moldings was as simple as taking the screws off, bondo, and done. i forgot the doors had to be repainted. now it sounds too much hassle. anyway thanx everyone for the help

IMHO shaved moldings make the car look cleaner, but then, there's a reason they put them there in the first place - so that the jackass with the SUV who parked next to you doesn't ding your doors. So, be prepared to pull the dings out of your door, inevitably, you'll get them.

Shave the moldings, they ruin the look of the car, but i would keep the doorhandles.
