Im not sure about cost, but all they do is take out the moldings, fill it with bondo, mold it in and match it up paintwise. Of course it has many more steps than that, but basically thats what they do. I was thinking of doing the same thing, but where i live peoples doors are always hitting my car, and my moldings have saved my door from damage too many times to count so i decided not to.

i don't think it makes that much of a difference. plus you are liable to get more scratches on your car, lol

shave 'em off!! the moldings atleast..... i shaved them off my accord, and it looks soooo much cleaner. you dont really appreciated shaved moldings until u have them
btw, a good bodyshop will weld the holes closed from the rear, them bondo them smooth. the doors will need to be repainted. if i were to shave the handles, i would only shave the rears. that way if u have trouble with the solenoids, you can still get in ur car. its also quicker to get into ur car with a handle :P

I shaved mine....looks NICE...shaved only my rear door handles as well....so I can still go to the track...

some places would juss paint around the area they shave n try to blend the paint to match...that would be the cheap way to go...

get a kit, then paint the whole car and shave everything..that would be better...=D
