I agree. I went from wheels that were 26lbs to 18lbs and it felt a tremendous gain in acceleration. Any kind of weight drop, especially on wheels will help a great amount. HOWEVER, if you get 17s, it will always be in back of yuor head that you could have got 18s for only 100$ or so more...The price difference b/t 17s and 18s is so small that id say itd be a waste not to save your money for another week and go with 18s. I ended up giving in and upgrading to 18s after i added my kit.

I like my 17s alot. But If you're gonna use 18s lower it. Otherwise it'll look like its jacked up!

I noticed you recently got cdr9's with yoko tires for your accord. Those are the rims I am considering. Are they heavier than stock? Did you feel any drop in performace?

Thanks.

I hope you are talking about just rim weight....cause my stock 15" 95 EX rim and tire weight is 32 lbs.

My 17's and 215/45/17 tires are 37 lbs...

acceleration = same
braking = slightly worse...but hardly noticable

But Keeper....6th gens look much better with 18s-19's....you'll regret getting 17's especially if you plan on getting a kit.
