What year is your car? On my 99 Accord (if I remember correctly), I had to remove the splash guards to take off the skirts. Then you will slide them either forward or rearward and then pull down. I found a local body shop to do the door mouldings, as I didn't feel like pulling the door panels myself to expose the mounting studs. But, I think the shop just pulled them off. There may also be double-sided tape. Body shop charged me $40 to pull the old ones off my sedan and put the new ones on.

I asked honda dealer to do the door moulding, but they charge 100 or 150 for service.. I was like heck naw. I gonna have to look around for body shop then.. moulding itself is expensive $300 for 4 parts.. friggin bastards

thank you

side skirts are EASY.

tools required
flat head screwdriver

1. located a series of black clips under the car near the side skirt
2. pop them out using the screwdriver
3. after all clips have been removed, tug on the sideskirt, pulling it directly towards the rear wheel. don't pull it out, or towards the front, just slide it back towards the trunk. (it sits on a series of slide and lock clips)
4. remove the white mounting clips on the old sideskirt and place them on the new one.

reverse directions for install.

The side moldings are held on by tape and clips. Like dliske mentioned, you have to remove each door panel to release the clips.
