magnaflow's alrite

AEM V2 is the new version...mixed reviews about expensive intakes though. read around about intakes and you'll see people's opinions.

bypass valve...you'll need it if you plan on driving through big pools of water but if you don't you should be ok

injen...comparable to...AEM

find...cheapest intake

bypass maybe not necessary...depending...on your driving style and environment...and if you want to spend the money

I recommend the AEM CAI which I use...it works great. If you live in a very wet/snow climate, get a bypass valve.

just do some research first. remember the bypass valve does not work with the v2. not a big deal, it sits pretty high up in most accords anyway

Default Maryland

MARYLAND won't be considered as a humid/rainy/snowy region right?

o and.. i found that apexi ws was good too... but it costs about 100 bucks more
than magnaflow one... im trying to keep stock style.. and sound so..

100 more would be worth it? or magnaflow would be ok?...

ok for final.....

it's magnaflow vs apexi(+$100)
AEM CAI vs AEM CAI V2(+$100)
and is air bypass valve necessary in MD ...

hmmmmmmmmm
very interesting.....

get the magnaflow since its dynoproven, aint the Apexi a fart cannon?
all you need is the CAI, maybe a bypass. put on the bypass when it starts the rain or in the winter otherwise it supposedly decreases hp.

Injen is a company that has been around longer than AEM, but Injen's sales are dropping drammatically because of AEM. AEM just recently bought out DC Sports (read that on AEM's website), so they must be doing something right.

In terms of the bypass valve, it is good to get if you live in an area the has a lot of precipatation (rain, snow, etc.) because if you get a CAI wet without a bypass valve then kiss it goodbye. If you do this though I have also heard that the bypass vavle does in fact decreases the Horsepower that the CAI would put out, which is why I just saved the extra money by getting a short RAM AEM system instead. I think it works great, and it does give my car a noticeable amount more power for those who are skeptical about short RAM systems.
