Default 2001 ACCORD LX question

Hi, I have one problem since last year. The milage of my 2001 Accord LX dropped dramatically now only little bit above 25 mpg. I have driven it for 3 and half years and total 36000 miles. When I did my 30000 maintenance in a garage, they changed my spark plugs. And checked my owner's manual today, it said to change it after 100k. Is it a problem?
And have a weird problem also, whenever I make left turn the left side back wheel seems make noise like scratching. What is the problem?
Thanks

at 36K miles, your brakes might be starting to go. i bet it's the wear indicator making the noise.

The brake was serviced with my 30000 maintenance. I don't know what they did though. But the noise doesn't sounds like brake system, because no matter I brake or not when turning left, it will make noise. Could it be suspension? Or CV boots?

CV joins will make more of a clicking noise. is the noise a constant metallic grind?

Seems like it. But it only appears when I make left turn.

It could still be the wear indicator. As the pads get worn down, they'll make noise even when you aren't hitting the brakes, and it usually starts making noise when you turn one way or another.

I'm not saying it's the brake pads for sure, but it could be.

As far as the spark plugs go...in 2000 they switched to platinum plugs that ideally last 100k miles. So it doesn't hurt that they changed them, but if they changed them with copper plugs, you don't want to wait until 100k to change them again...they last about 30k miles.
