Default Interior changes - Pics (after much work)

Ok, most of you have already probably seen these types of mods and may or may not like them, but I've put in a lot of time trying to get everything to work just right. Installed my neon tubes in the driver side footwells last night and it was a b*tch. There's not much room under the dash, and basically i was trying to turn a screw into the hard plastic until it caught. Let's just say my arm was numb after the 1st hour... But after all that's said and done, i'm happy with the results. Thanks to the guys that helped me out and explained the circuitry and wutnot. Learned a lot in the
last 2 weeks. Let me know what you guys think:

Looks nice.

Gonna do the passenger side? It seems you fixed the needles/gauges...?

Yeah actually the passenger side has the neon setup already too (if you can see in the pics). Right now tho, it's a hack job. I jammed one end of the neon tube into this little hold under the passenger dash. I plan on screwing it to the carpet with a bolt, just to center it. And yes, my fuel gauge FINALLY works. I have spliced wires up the wazoo tho...

Looks nice. You might consider moving the driver's side neon up a little more. I think at that angle your rear passenger's eyes can be burned if he/she peered over your left shoulder. And don't worry, your passenger neon bar shouldn't seem like it lights the floorboards as well because it has nothing to shine onto (aluminum pedals, etc) - just lights up boring flat black carpeting

Anyway, good job! (I want indiglo's now...)

yeah... i'm a little miffed about the positioning of the neon tube on the drivers side, but it's pretty much too late. the tube can't really be seen on the passenger side neways. if you look under your drivers side dash, you'll notice that it hooks inside a little bit, like so:

steering column
===|
      \
       &nbsp ;\
        &n bsp; \
        &n bsp;   \/-()

------------------------------------------- (floor)

The neon tube is where the () are. i basically screwed the neon tube to that little hook-in part. Unfortunately, that hook-in part is pretty small, so when i screwed it in, the neon extends out a little. How did you do yours?
