1/8 mile times
well dragstrip times on opening day season!
it was soo crowded only got 3 ****ing runs in, in 4 hours.
anyway
first run (havn't run since nov of last year)
no nitrous and worst launch ever spun all through 1st and 2nd!
R/T .652
60' 2.796
330 7.580
1/8m 11.402
MPH 64.50
NOTE: my best run ever without nitrous last year was 10.7 something.
decided to to turn it up a notch and hit the nitrous down this run. first run EVER on nitrous at the track! amazing!
R/T .670
60' 2.178
330 6.153
1/8m 9.432 WOO HOO
MPH 74.95
:-) big difference!
this is on a F22b2 with a 75 shot of nitrous...stock clutch (exedy race going in this weekend)
intake, full greddy exhaust, and NGK bkr7e's...i want to hit 8's but i dunno exactly what i need...if it comes down to an h22 then i will..but i think that if i am 9.4 already then i can hit 8's with this engine!
what do i need to hit 8's!
thanks a lot

Congrats! Nice consistent reaction times too. I think it will be hard to drop into the 8's. My friend has a 6th gen v6 coupe, 1/8th = 9.14 and 1/4 = 14.13 with nitrous, so you're looking to get into the 13sec 1/4 miles. That might be difficult unless you go forced induction.
when you spin through 1st gear and shift fast into 2nd gear the car ain't going to hook up considering your still putting about the same amount of power to the wheels in another gear so yeah i can see it... its like getting on it in 1st in the rain, 1st gear you spin through.. shift, spin through 2nd.. shift, spin a little in 3rd then stop in my basically stock f22a1 92 LX 5 spd.... shorty custom intake and a welded on fart pipe

it also depends on where he was launching at.. if he launched at 4500 rpm then floored it as soon as he let the clutch drop then yes he'll spin through 1st and then it'll be like in the rain, keep them spinning while shifting in 2nd.

The i4 with stock tires will chirp second and sometimes if I shift with WOT i can hear the 225 18s skip a beat but they don't make a noise. I feel so pathetic. Boasting that my car could make the wheel turn once or twice going to second haha
With the power we have I still can't see our cars spinning through 2nd gear. Chirp yes, but not spin. Just maybe if u held the ebrake and could be still on stocks, MAYBE 2nd gear would catch and spinn.
When I auto-x I drop the clutch at 4k on 16 205 tires and it makes for a good launch. Going into second I can make a nice chirp with WOT, but I don't have a problem controlling wheel spin once out of 1st.
guys guys...it was WITHOUT NITROUS and a messed up launch
see i slip the clutch at about 5500 and slip it till i get traction..that is how i got a 2.1 60'
but on that first run i got tree happy and accidently dropped it at 55k and sat there and spun, and tried to save it by slamming to second spun halfway through that and hten caught and bogged..it was rediculous.
trust me 9.4 on my first and only run with nitrous that day i was very happy!
but i decided ahh what the hell i want to hit mid 8's so i am just throwing in the h22 with a exedy ceramatallic thick 3 puck, with some other mods and with the 75 shot
it will be dyno tuned as well...there is a guy on HS doing untuned with a 55 shot of NX on h22 putting 224 to the wheels and over 270 tq to the wheels. so i can't wait.
i am only 17 so i have a budget
