Rim Help!
I'm havin a problem with my wheels and was wonderin if anyone could help.
CAR- 98 accord, sedan
WHEELS- 18 x 7.5 axis sevens, +42 offset, 225 40 tires
The problem is the front wheels stick out past the fenders, the backs seem to be ok. I have talked to a few people with rims the same size, offset, and with the same size tire that dont have this problem. I just lowered the car and im stuck on steel wheels because of this.
Thanks for any help

I double checked rim and they are +42 for sure, that is a pic before the drop. If you look close you can see the fronts stickin out, but i will have to get a shot from a better angle so you can really tell
also, you said you lower the car.
how much is your drop ?
that should help put negative camber, which in this case is not.
sorry, no idea on this.
you might try talk to some wheel shop or borrow someone else's wheel with the same size + offset to see whether the fault is the car of the wheel.

i had the same problem with my 93. i had 17x8 rims with a +42 off set. i didn't lower the car when i put the wheels on. and the front wheels was sticking out past the fender. i even called the shop and tried to return them. but when i lowered the car 2 inches, the rims tucked because of negative camber. when i had the camber corrected. the wheel fit fine,no rubbing in the front. my rear did rub the fender so i just rolled it. i don't know if it will be the same for a 98. that's just my 2 cents. try giving Axis a call or even Tirerack for proper fitment.
