Question: if after replacing the switches the problem remains the same, would there be harm in jumpering the fans so they both come on every time the key is on?

same thing happened to me...just today i changed my thermostat....it only does that on long trips...so next time i drive a long long distance like 20miles plus...then ill know....and i topped off my coolant
