Default New Brakes/rotors Scrubbing?

Hey, does anybody have an idea why NEW brakes and rotors would squeel and scrub (from time to time)??? I'm looking for a real logical answer here and possibly a DIY fix.
They are Brembo blanks and Hawk Pads (straight off tirerack.com).
I probably made a mistake by letting NTB install them for me...

Can I get some help?

it is pretty common, you can stop that by going out to an auto parts store and getting anti brake squeak. you put it inbetween the shims and it eliminates that noise.

When you first install new brakes/rotors, they will squeek for the first few lets say hundred miles.

There is a spray that they sell ( hopefully next person to post a reply would know the name of it ) that you spray on the pads that limits the squeeking.
Just normal wear and tear of new brakes.

Thats totally off topic with the thread, have you tried looking under the plug wires??? Youll have mad HP gains with $100 spark plugs LOL

Back on topic, everyone ive ever talked to who changed brake pads on a Honda has noticed this squeeling problem. Like flyromeo said once they wear in a bit it should stop. Ive seen the spray too, but Im drawing a blank on the name of it...

Yeah gt some stop squeel (I think thats the name) but let them run for a couple miles and properly seat and avoid hard braking situations as much as possible for the fist 2-300 miles or so.

Pretty common really.

As for the $100 spark plugs.....:lmfao: if you can't figure out where to find your spark plugs in your car then you need to go to a remedial mechanics class and learn that they are at the end of the plug wires in the valve cover...pretty basic location really....maybe before asking you should open the hood and look first BTW $100 for plugs??? man I got some I would have let you have for a steal at $50 plus shipping :lmfao:

The spark plugs are located inside the alternator. You need to carefully take out the whole engine and remove the block and everything else before you can take off the aternator. Once the alternator is taken off you need to get a hammer and hit it to crack it open, once that is done you'll find the spark plugs.

:lmao:

Thanks for the ON-TOPIC replies! I've heard of the spray stuff as well. However, noone has addressed the occasional SCRUBBING that I'm getting along with the squeel... THAT part of it just doesn't make any sense in my mind. BTW, the brakes and rotors are well past break-in period...
