Default HP Gains?

If I got some 10MM plug wires, iridium plugs, blaster 2 coil an SCI and some venom fuel injectors would I get a descent boost of HP or am I wasting my time? I also am thinking about getting headers and a hi flow cat? With these items will I gain some low end power?

I don't know what kind Accord you own, but I'm very curious about the 10mm plug wires and iridium plugs myself, as I was thinking about doing that soon. Pardon my ignorance, but what's a "blaster 2 coil" and "SCI"

I've got a DC Header on my L4 98 EX, I can defentally feel the low end torque, also my car tops out higher now. (although, it might've been a difference in the weather) I had problems reaching over 125, now I'm good (with the other mods, I guess. . . header was the last thing I did.) up to about 135-140. Not that I drive that fast or anything. . . :naughty:

Well with the more powerful ignition and better spark and more fuel going into the motor its going to make things run better. You wont get a ton of power and its not really a waste of time. Every little thing helps. Plus if you ever decided to boost or spray youd allready have an upgraded ignition system. Hell while your at go get a hondata stage 4 kit so you can burn your own chips and get some dyno time hehe. Getting the highflow cat will decrease backpressure and will open up the exhaust more but you will loose low end because theres less backpressure but youll gain high end. As far as the header getting a 4-2-1 will help. Get a power steering underdrive pulley from unorthodox. This frees up power not a whole lot about 1-2 hp and 1-2tq but its cheap and works from low end to high end.

I have a 93 Honda Accord 10th Anniversary (which I don't really know what the difference with it is from other models)

Complete waste of money. You will gain ZERO hp assuming your stock ignition and injectors are working as intended.
If your goal is to add more fuel with the new injectors... I have to ask why you would bother, since stock untuned engines run rich at WOT and making the mixture more rich would LOWER horsepower.

Headers and high flow exhaust components will help, as well as an underdrive pulley. You will gain some low end (and mid-range) with these mods, but remember... you still have a small displacement I4 and will see most of your gains on the upper end (mostly on the larger lobes, if you have VTEC).

10mm plug wires is just the thickness of the casing, it allows it to withstand higher temps, but doesn't offer any performance increase. oem or ngk wires are the best in most cases.

iridiums are waste in a sense that if you run a ngk coppers already that are not worn out they will perform about the same. the nice thing about iridiums is that they last longer than copper and perform better than platinum. on a I4 where the plugs are easy to get to i would use ngk coppers and change them every 15-20k to insure a good spark. on v6 or v8 where some of these plugs are bitch to get at then iridiums are worth it.

as for an ignition..for just bolt-ons the stock ignition is fine. any gain will be rather minimal and not worth the cost. but if turbo is in the works you may want it although it's not necessary with low boost.

your probably the 1 out of 10 that actually like the +4s, most honda owners who have tried them go back to ngk coppers. i would suggest you give them a try.

when I had the +4's it sure as hell made my car run fun. I ran the car to redline once with the 4's and instead of it bouncing off the limiter, the car just bogged down.
