10mm plug wires is just the thickness of the casing, it allows it to withstand higher temps, but doesn't offer any performance increase. oem or ngk wires are the best in most cases.
iridiums are waste in a sense that if you run a ngk coppers already that are not worn out they will perform about the same. the nice thing about iridiums is that they last longer than copper and perform better than platinum. on a I4 where the plugs are easy to get to i would use ngk coppers and change them every 15-20k to insure a good spark. on v6 or v8 where some of these plugs are bitch to get at then iridiums are worth it.
as for an ignition..for just bolt-ons the stock ignition is fine. any gain will be rather minimal and not worth the cost. but if turbo is in the works you may want it although it's not necessary with low boost.
