Basically what a puley kit does is to reduce rotational mass which is the same effect you get when you switch rim sizes except this is in your engine bay.
With pulley kits the only thing I would steer clear of is any alternator pulley wheels and from what I have seen I would stay away from crank pulleys unles it is a track only vehicle...just not the most solid for daily driving.

Spend the cash and UR i have hte UR power steering pulley and its wonderful. The Alternator pulley is fine unless you are drawing a lot of power like from neons or amps. As far as the crank most people stay away.
