Default Front motor mount

Has anyone used the front motor mount made by Engery Suspension for "Manual Transmissions" for an auto tranny? If so, does it fit right?

I have, I bought the mount not knowing that it was only for manual trannys, and found out later on... but basically one day I was bored, so I went outside, took out the front motor mount, and tried to see if the poly mount would fit in there. (93 ex, auto)
What I had to do was, first, take out the motor mount (duh) then the top part of the mount has these two thin round rubber discs, that basically look like they're only there to keep dust out, well I just pulled them off. Then, because my mount was so badly broken, I just pulled out the middle piece of the mount (on the top part) and took a utility knife, and whittled away any rubber that was in the way when I tried to put in the poly mount. It was a total hack job, but the poly mount ended up fitting in there nice and snug... I actually left a little bit too much rubber in there, just to make sure the poly mount was nice and tight and had lots of contact surface. Put the whole thing back in, and voila, lots of vibration in the steering wheel, but better shifts.

More vibration in the wheel? The vibrations are transferred to the wheel because the mount is so stiff?

yea, before I put the poly mount in, I had a bad vibration at idle (common in 4th gen, right guys?) and my steering wheel would be vibrating, and once I put in the new poly mount, it actually got worse... when I come to a red light, my steering wheel vibrates like crazy, its annoying for me....Especially since I live in NYC, and am constantly in tons of stop/go traffic, but I would definitly do it all over again, poly is cheaper than a new mount, and the shifts are nice and crisp. I guess I should also check my rear mount, I'm sure that one is probably busted too...
