LED center brake light???
Use a oval LED tail light... ones used on heavy trucks. You can find them on ebay... I have a Trucklite Model 60 LED in my 94 accord third brake light, it had to be trimmed to fit. The Trucklite lights are totally sealed with epoxy, so its pretty much a solid mass of plastic and LEDs... making it impossible to remove the pc board from the inside. I used a bench grinder to make the lamp smaller to allow it to fit in the stop light housing. Other brands of LED tail lights usually are not like the trucklite brand, Meaning you can seperate the lens from the housing and remove the pc board inside... this is much easier to install into your third brake light, as it takes a lot of grinding and test-fitting for the trucklite one. I am going to be switching my third brake light from a Trucklite LED to another one I picked up on ebay, which I have already taken the pc board out of. Hopefully i'll get to this today, as ive been wanting to do it for a while. The new LED light I got is slightly brighter than the Trucklite one I have in there.
I will document the process with pictures and post the results when I am done, so you and anyone else up to the task can do it themselves.
