intake installation
Hey guys, another noob here. i just ordered my INJEN CAI for my 7th gen i4 coupe and i am not too sure how to install it. IF anyone can help me with the necessary steps to install the intake that would be great. PICS or if any links i can look at would be awsome. Your help is greatly appreciated.
Didn't it come with instructions? It's just an easy bolt on...
Disconnect the negative battery wire.
Unbolt the tubing and filter/box and disconnect the Mass Airflow Sensor (It's a wire plugin).
Then take off the front bumper, remove the air box (resonator) that connects to the bottom part of the intake.
Put the new intake together and directly bolt it on, make sure to put the Mas Airflow Sensor back in the spot.
Sorry, this is kinda short... but I'd suggest you e-mail Injen for instructions.
Here's a couple pics of an AEM V2 on a 7th gen, kinda the same concept.

Here's where the sensor goes...

Here's the thread that I found it from...
