Default install a exhaust

well i just got my new exhaust, mangaflow catback, 98 sedan 4cy, and my friend said he can put it on for me, he works at mr tire, should i let him do it, i mean is there a wrong way to put on one? :thinking:

Its pretty easy to do, just make sure you get the bolts all ready before taking it off. I'd suggest some Valvoline Penatrating Oil (this isn't some sick love oil). I bought some from the local auto parts store, for $4.49. I sprayed it on all the bolts of my 140k stock exhaust, and after 3-4 hours, the bolts came off like it was nothing.

So prep the bolts really good, and use lots of the stuff. Its better than WD40. As for the rubber hangers, use WD40, and they'll slide off like butter, serisouly. Just make sure you have room to get under the car, and a good ratcheting wrench, and sockets that won't break. I broke two generic sockets, and went to Sears to get a craftsman, came back home, and the exhaust came off really easy, and didn't break the socket either.
