Default Alignment Question

More newbie questions...I know I'll definately have to get an alignment after lowering my car. I have heard that it is best to wait a week or so for the springs to settle, others have said do it as soon as possible. Can someone please clarify? If I do have to wait, can I at least drive my car in the mean time, or will that severly f-up my tire wear? Also, should I align all 4 or just the front 2? THANKS!

u don't have to align ur car after u drop, i've never heard of such a thing. I guess it wouldn't be a bad idea to, but i've never heard of having to do that. The only time that you would need to get it aligned is if you pulled off the UCA to put in a camber kit. thats what f***s s***t up man!

Yes you do have to get an alignment. after any kind of suspension work you need to align. I droped my car with neuspeed sport springs (1.7 front and 1.5 back) The camber wear was bad. I went threw 3 sets of tires in the front and 2 in the back within 2 1/2 years. 205/40/17. alignment will help but depending on how much of a drop you might need a camber kit.

camber damage won't be helped by alignment if you don't have a camber kit, which he obviously doesn't have. i know when u drop camber damage will occur. but alligning it won't help if you don't have anything to adjust the camber.....

u still need to get ur car alligned but u can wait a couple of weeks if u wish. It is a very good thing to actually get it done. If u have the 6gen u will more than likely need a rear camber but front is ok. I have been without a camber k=kit since school began in 03 and my inner ware in the back is horrible. I really should invest in one. U can pretty much tell is u need camber kit or not. Just look at ur car from the back and if u see the wheels coming in to the car like so / \ then u need a kit to save those tires.
