These lights are the best setup I've had..performance and looks wise.

I've had:
HID + OEM
HID + Audi TT Projector Retro
now, HID + TYCs = best one

My car with TYCs

Man!! That looks tight! I guess i am convinced that I am going to get TYC projectors! But now I gotta find an HID kit for it. What size bulbs does the TYC projectors need? And where can I find some good HID but at a good price?

I think u want to search bixenon on e-bay. If i'm right then they come in an encloser similar to fog lights and u have to cut a hole in ur projector to put the HID light in there. It's not jus a HID bulb that fits in ur stock place. There are many how to's on this forum. Search around and u will find many pics

This may be a stupid question, but I can't use my SilverStars I bought for my OEM headlights, right?

wrong... of course u can. If u bought the 9005 than take out the 9006 OEM bulb and make the silverstar's socket look like the oem bulb and just plug it inplace of ur old OEM.

I bought the 9006's for my lows. I still have stock highs. When I replaced the headlights, I plan to pick up a set of 9005's for my highs. They're just a drop in replacement in the TYCs?

I think the TYC use the same bulbs as the stock headlamps. They are definately not HIDs and they don't come with bulbs.

Okay did my research. TYC headlights come with H1 size headlights for there highs and lows. You can change out the bulbs for HID but they dont come with HID.
