red clear tails
Ok, I have done a search for this and didnt really find anything that helped.
On the 92 Accord. the stock tails have the white backup light on the bottom and then yellow next to it. and the turn light is yellow.
I have read that you can take the lense apart and remove the yellow and it will be clear.
How is this done?
I want the turn light to be red and the bottom part to be clear.
Just wondering if there is a DIY or if I have to buy them.
Thanks

I dont think you can, bro, unless you're some sort of plastic artisan or something. Thats the same thing that I wanted, but couldnt figure it out, and couldnt afford a new set, so I went all red. Check the pics in my sig. I've repainted the tails all red, 2 coats paint, 3 coats clear, they look much better now, will get pics up soon.

It cannot be done to stock tail-lights.
90-93 tail-lights are painted red and amber there is no way of removing the amber without damaging the tail-lights themselves.
save yourself the trouble and buy some aftermarket red/clears.

Look on eBay for them. I got mine there last summer. Procarparts carries the red/clears. Expect to pay anywhere from $30 to $120 for them on eBay including shipping.
