Default 94-97 Accord Questions

Hello, this is the first time i ever wrote anything on this site but wateva. Me and my father were looking in the paper the other day and we found a 95 accord ex sedan with 57K. The guy wanted around $6000 for it. Do u guyz think this is a good deal considering it is 9 yrs. old. I know Hondas are reliable and all since we've owned 1 in the past and own 1 now but are there any particular problems with this model? I'm not sure if it is a V6 or a 4cyl. cuz we havent called the guy yet. Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Sry for such a long post.

6k with that many miles is not bad at all. You usually find that price with 100,000 miles. I say go for it if you really like it.

if you can do a search on carfax.com and see why there so few miles on it. if it checks out OK then I'd say go for it.

with only 57k on the engine+tranny, it should be ok. People started complaining about the tranny at 100k.

be aware that the auto tranny shifts really rough
that price is fair/on a little high side, I was offered 1/2 of that price for 96' with 70k

with that many years, you might want to ask if the guy changed timing belt...etc If he did, then it should be a safe buy. Other wise he is basically dumpping his headache.
