Default 9005 Headlight conversion

I did this over the weekend since my 9006 silverstars blew out just after 6 months of use and I must say that even with the stock 9005 bulbs modified to fit the light is alot better I think I'm going to pick up some new silverstars tonight and see how they look

yep, the conversion makes a big difference. I use Nokya Arctic whites and I love em, and the fact that they're only $25 a set is a plus

I did the conversion a few weeks ago, to bad a wrecked my car ill sell you the bulbs (low beam 9006->9005 conversion) I took good care of them, let them burn in without turnin them off when they were new, and they only have about 25-30 hours on them.

If you would like them PM me

And i do agree the light output is AMAZING those of you that havnt done it yet and have a few extra bucks, do it, it will make your night driving experience much more enjoyable

beware the silverstar 9005 conversion! one blew and the other turned out this way after less than a year of light to moderate use:

a pair of GE superblue 9005s that have been in my accord and my parents' accord for over a year still look brand new. i got another pair for my sister's coupe and a new set for mine. $20/pair at wal-mart

i did the conversion for a friend of mine, and to tell you the truth, the light output isnt as great as i thought it would be. i did a side by side comparison with a piaa 9004 and a modified 9005 silverstar in the low beams and i like the color/output of the piaa bulb better.
