7th gens supposedly have fauly brakes here and there. I doubt this problem won't spread into other areas of the car.

Better to get it fixed now than at 36K when you're off warranty.

Ive gotten the free 7/100 out of them. I had a whole ton of problems that many other people have had.

Basically call American Honda 800-999-1009 and tell them that problem are continuing and that these issues have given you little faith that this car will even make it to 100K miles and that you dont feel it right that you should have to pay for an extended warranty on a vehicle that was supposed to not give any problems.

Good luck with the whole thing; first and last Honda I ever own.

This car is all new as of last year. they are bound to have a few issues. Honda always has done a awsome job with addressing any issues. they will be fixed, trust me on that

lemon shit is pretty hard to pull off ... my friend has a 01 gmc sonoma zq8 extended cab (basically an s10 extreme without the body kit) but anyways, the ****in check engine light kept coming on and it was the o2 sensor that was continually ****ed up ... ill get some more details from him tommorow ... they tried to tell him it was cause he modified his exhaust system (he cut the pipe right after the muffler cause it was rubbing on his brake lines cause he lowered it)

anyways, it happened like 4 times and he tried to get it lemon lawed and no dice ... so i dunno what the story is more details later.

Thats probably why they won't do anything. He lowered the car and cut the exhaust pipe. U wonder why they won't do anything.

It might seem ok to us but not the dealers.

well i could understand if it had something to do with his problem, but it wasnt related at all to the o2 sensor blowin.

They ended up fixin it and the light hasnt come on for the last 6 months so far.

Correct, I should have stayed away in the first place

Let me say that I understand this is the first year of the new gen and problems are expected, agreed. What I have problems with is my whole Honda experience. Maybe it is the dealer I go to, who keeps screwing up easy things, maybe it is the fact that my car has to go to the dealer so often to begin with...more than I would expect even a new car to need. My mother bought a first year of a new gen Camry (91 I think...the ones with the rounded butt) and didnt have any problems at all. Or maybe it is the way HAm has responded to these problems. Granted, I have a free warranty BUT my car still has to go to the shop for things...this is time that it costs me and time is money. I want a buy back, they ask me if there are any problems with driving and I said...not at the moment, unless you count that I cant drive the car while it is in the shop. My problems are too numerous to start listing here and I dont really want to hijack this guys thread.

I still love the car, but hate the problems you know what I mean? I don't want these problems again which is why I dont feel I will be returning to Honda. Definitely not for the next car anyway. Who knows, if this car, by some freakish miracle, makes it to 100K miles...then I MIGHT consider things.

that is my number one complaint about honda is the shitty dealerships. The nearest one to me thats any good is Mel Rapton Honda of Sacramento and thats an hour away.

But then again i dont have to deal with em much because i buy used cars.
