You're right. You can't drive your car w/o an o2 sensor if I'm correct. When I got my clutch done, they didn't plug my o2 sensor extension back in all the way and it came apart while I was driving, car died silently and wouldn't kick over.

how do you get to the fuel filter...where is it at? 5th gen of course
It's on the driver side of the firewall, pain in the arse to get to, even more difficult to replace. Which really sucks cause it's only a $20 part

yes, but if it is still operating within its parameters, then it won't throw a light. if it steps outside that range, then yes, you will get a light. like brake pads. you don't know they'r bad until they're burnt to death.

and you think it's a pain changing your fuel filter now?!?!? try it with an H22 blocking the way!!! my tech couldn't fit it into the time window during my 60k service.

if you remove the cruise control it opens up some access to the fuel fliter.

luckily i had mine done when i did the swap, so i'm all set for awhile.

so then most likely my problem is due to clogged air filter and possibly fuel filter.

i didn't know that. i even have my cruise control removed. i'll have to look there for myself. thanks.

and what's this about a relocation???

you know, just because it works, doesn't mean it's working like it is supposed to be, but the O2s are good for at least 100k. and yes, i just have over 61k on the chassis.
