Default interior neon installation

i jus bought an interior neon bulb for my 03 coupe that is supposed to connect to the cigarette lighter. how do i power the neon lights without goin through the cigarette lighter?

splice the wire and run it to the fuses under the dash...u can install an on/off switch in the line if u want to

not sure which fuse carries a constant charge though.

1. the neon bar. clip the adapter at the end and strip some of the wire. if the wire is in a clear tube, the silver is the ground, the copper is the power.

2. ground the silver wire to the body of the car

3. run a switch

4. run an inline fuse

5. connect to the 12V power source.

wen you say connect to the 12V power source, do i connect it to the battery directly? or to the fuse box? or should i tap into an existing wire that carries power? also.. wut amperage fuse should i buy? 5,10,20?
