you can connect directly to your battery, or you can connect to your fuse box. i would suggest your fuse box, but i have no idea which fuse carries a constant charge.

when buying an inline fuse, look into the 10's. you don't want something that will take too long to blow (20's)

also, you might want to wire something like this, instead of the neon tube directly.


(generic image, you can buy a better one at WalMart for $8)

by wiring the power splitter, you can add up to 3 or 4 more neon bars and have them all turn on with the same switch. no need for 4 switches, 4 inline fuses, and 4 power taps.
