Default Help-Estimate for timing belt & Master cycl.

I am looking at a '94 Accord EX for my daughter. It might need a Master Cyclinder and probably a timing belt change. since it has 92K miles on it. What is an average expense for these 2 items on this car? Very important so I can factor it into a potential offer....

thanks guys! Tom

if u go by dealer price for the timing will b around $500, u can call a honda dealer and they will tell u the price. if u go by the shop make sure they use original honda parts because 100% of the time they wont if u dont tell them, so the price a shop will give u is probably aftermark stuff which u dont want.

depending on who is doing the work

i had mine done for me for around 300 dollars through a family friend on my old 90 accord.

I went around and got quotes from places, they ranged from 300 all the way to 700 at a dealership.

usually it is about 100 bux in parts and however much they wanna chage you in labor shop around first and see.
