Hi all I have a problem and am hoping someone can help me. My wifes alarm on her 97' Honda Accord has been reactivated since she got a headlight installed at Wal-Mart. Prior to the headlight installation the alarm had been off for about 3 years as she had it deactivated since she was always loosing her keyless entry gidget.

At any rate she no longer has either of the two Keyless entry systems and each time we use the bloody car the alarm goes off for 90 seconds or so.

How the hell do I turn off the alarm? I'm getting sick of her borrowing my car and am hoping this is something that I can do myself. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

 

find the alarm fuse and yank it? i'm not too sure if the fuse powers other things though. :|

 

put your key into the driver side door and turn it right and left, but dont open the door. Thats how i turn off my alarm (OEM) when I did not have my remote.
