all 7th gen owners post here
Hope to join you guys soon. Yeah, about the colors, I'm flexible. I just wish Honda offered some more variety. I know I really am not interested in the silver UNLESS it is an emergency and that is all I can get. I do want a 6 speed coupe, I don't like automatics, even though most of my driving is in rush hour Wash, DC traffic. Honda makes some incedible manual/clutch combinations that are a joy to drive rather than a chore.
I've got a Prelude 5 spd "base" model now with over 85,000 miles. The car has been great, few (but not NO) problems and the car is still a joy to drive. Too bad they don't make the Prelude anymore
. I think the Accord will be a more accomadating ride though. I'm not complaining about the Prelude's ride by that last sentence, what I mean is its a little tough to find a comfortable driving position and the seats are so/so as far as comfort is concerned.

On another note, go with the graphite pearl color if you get a 7th gen, I regret not getting it.
That's good to hear 03accordcoupe. I agree with you on the graphite pearl. I really like that color and it would be my first choice but I don't think it is available with the 6 speed trans. WHY I haven't a clue. Apparantly the 6 speed coupe is only available in Taffeta White, Nighthawk black pearl, San Marino red, Satin Silver metallic, or Saphhire (sp!!) Blue Pearl (or metallic, can't remember)
that Graphite Pearl is darn nice...but I do enjoy my white one just b/c the interior has a little more variety with the beige/black/carbon fiber combo.
in terms of the prelude vs. current generation Accord V6...you just can't beat how smooth the new engine (and overall ride) is but from what i remember that last gen. prelude handled like a true sports car.

I have a 03 Night Black Pearl 6 speed. I got mine at the end of March last year and I have almost 10k miles on it. I paid $900 over invoice for it, which was very rare back then. Most dealers were selling them for sticker, some had a $3,000 dollar markup
on them. I got the aero kit, rear wing spoiler and a few other items. I had the windows tinted and got some longer exhaust tips.

I have a 2004 Satin Silver Metallic over black LX auto sedan. I got it in June of 2004, and I saved almost 1800 dollars off the MSRP. I am keeping it completely stock though....i don't really like mods. Might do some OEM alloys or a brushed aluminum dash kit
Purchased two the end of December. A SSM hybrid sedan for my mother and a SSM six speed coupe for myself. Both are tremendous to drive, and I'm very impressed with the six speed. Wonderfully handling and makes great sounds. I've put about 300 kilometers on my coupe and the last time I spoke to Mom she had about 1000 kilometers on hers. Both had to be ordered, and I was told by the dealer that the six speeds are usually not readily available at the dealers.
