Default need suspension opinions

Okay guys I need some help. I got a really good deal on some coilover sleeves so I bought them for the time being. I asked this board earlier on the best struts to buy and I came to the conclusion to get koni yellows. Now I want me car to be pretty low but also want my car to ride as close to stock. Will full coilovers be better to accomplish this or can I just add the konis to my current sleeves and end up with the same result?? The only thing that kept me from def going full coilovers was that a friend of mine that I consider very knowledgable said that struts usually blow out a little after 2 years on real low cars. So if this is true it would be a lot more cost effective to just buy struts now instead of full coilovers so that down the road I can just replace struts when I need to instead of buying full coilovers again. Sorry about the long post guys but does any of that make sense to you?? thanks in advance for your help everyone!!!!

What kind of sleeves did you buy and how low are you planning to go.

you are better off getting full coil-overs point blank.

yeah, full coilovers are the way to go, but just too damn expensive. Anybody have Lo-Boyz full coilovers? They sell em in the magazines for like $279 set.

I have coilovers from a company named image performance. they are a new company starting up and seem to have quality parts. They mostly deal with imports and some domestics like neons. They compare their full coilover setups to tein. I know a couple guys personally that work for image and they tell me that they are expanding. Before they were only going to be dealing with suspensions parts, body kits, wings, etc. and they have a contract with tyc so they sell their lights. My friend says they are going to be a very big name in the import aftermarket. Soon they will be dealing with turbos! Sorry about the little history rant but usually when I tell people image performance, they are like "who the hell are they??". Right now my car is slammed. It is close to a 4 inch drop. When I get my 18" rims soon I will raise it up a little if I have to so that the wheels barely tuck. After my rims and h22 I might consider getting a body kit or lip kit so obviously I dont wanna be bashing into everything. By the way I have a 97 accord if that helps any! Thanks again guys!!!

go with Apex-i World Sports. they will give you a very stock like ride even when slammed.
