Basically ask your installer or Alpine dealer if a thief were to cut all the wires on the brain if the car would still be disabled. Like I said many times, I don't know about the Alpine alarms, I just know Viper sucks and Clifford is the bomb.

But don't think for a second that their Viper line is anywhere near as good as thier Clifford line. Clifford still is the top notch alarm.
