Yeah, it might go up, but I guarantee it wont be anywhere near as expensive to fix all the damage to your car. Anyways, call a stereo shop and see if you can add a shock sensor to you factory alarm, they can answer better. I think not many people have tried this and that's probably why you haven't gotten an answer yet. Even if you could add the sensor, it's not gonna make your car any more safe than it already is, you're better off getting an aftermarket alarm.

yeah I am going to do it. Its a way to keep my car safe. I dont want to spend 200.00 on a viper. Since you all know if someone wants something they will get it no matter what alarm you got. So this is just one way of keeping those peopel away.
An "AUTOLOCK" is not going to sound off and wake me up, when some @sshole trys to jack my stereo at night or if some dumbass kid on the street crashes their bike into my car. I guess having a shock sensor will make me less worry to park on the street instead of my driveway. even tho my neighbor hood is safe.

Can someone tell me if the wiring for the CL is the same as the accord in that website above.

thanks

a 200 dollar viper is not much better than stock alarm. if you just want to spend a minimal amount of money on the shock sensor and think that now ur car is safer, you are wrong. a thief can break into ur car without triggering the shock sensor or the factory alarm. if i was you, i would either replace the factory alarm with an aftermarket one that has all the features or save the money. a shock sensor only costs 10 bucks maximum but the labor..at least 50. bottom line, don't be cheap on a security system. i don't hope to see you going through what i've experienced. i don't think you would wanna know what happened

If adding a shock sensor to your factory alarm is gonna make you rest better at night, you need to do some more research on alarms and how easily defeatable they are. I think it's a waste of money honestly bro, not trying to be a d*ck or anything, just trying to make you realize adding that sensor isnt gonna do anything to make your car any safer. Reason being, it's easily defeated and gives you a false sense of security.

hey b12uceHuy, im not just making this stuff up bro, im trying to look out for you. I've experienced what steveng experienced, and I had a $400 Viper installed. They took my car in like 30 seconds and all the alarm did was chirp 2 times, that's it.
