I did a search but didnt have a lot of luck, I'm trying to get some heads up on how to replace the drivers side headlight on a 92 accord. Can anyone help?

 

Tools you will probably need.

a. Ratchet
b. 10mm socket
c. 12mm socket
d. extension.
e. screwdriver phillips and straight
f. haynes manual.

Ok here goes.... FIRST you must take off your bumper. To do so there 2 bolts behind your bumper lenses, this requires the ratchet, extension and 12mm socket (if its not 12, then try 10). Then open up your hood there are two nuts that are right behind the each of the headlights. you must use a 10mm socket for this.
There are other bolts that i do not remember of, consult your haynes manual for further instructions.

Next once you have your bumper off, you will have access to the bolts for the headlights, use the ratchet/socket combo accordingly.

Once you are done, put everything back together and you're set. I may remind you that once you put it back it may not fit as snug as stock.... do not be afraid.

There are little "screws" where the bumper meates the wheel well that need to be removed.

Your best bet is to go to a parts store and get the Haynes book for your car. it will help you ALOT in the future and its a good idea to get it and read up on your car anyways.

Sounds straight forward enough, thanks. If it was my car I'd have the manual, but it's not, yet, so I dont.

 

Also it's an oem replacement from autodynamic will it be very noticeable ?

 

Nope the only difference is the stamping on the front lense. Since its not TYC, I would recommend you apply a thin layer of clear silicon around the edges before you install them, to prevent future water leaking or fogging.

I would replace both or else you'll have a new and a dull looking headlight.

 

:werd: if you can afford it. I changed my driver side (with one from a 92 accord) and it was clearer then the pass side one so I swaped it too.
