99accord coupe clock light don't work
Amazingly enough, last night I turned on the radio and the clock just lit up. Now it stays lit all the time instead of just when the lights are on. The hazard light is still dead. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.
u guys just pissed me off. I was going to go to honda in the next 30min to buy the bulbs since I figured it has to be a bulb issue. Now u got me thinking and I'll have to pry that bitch open and see whats going on. This was supposed to be simple- buy a new bulb and I'm set... Now u added all those variables. I'll see how it goes hopefully its just a bad bulb.
Is it the same one for the hazard or are they two seperate ones. If so then it probably is a wire/connection problem.

this is getting a bit out of hand. in most cases when your clock light dies, it's the fault of a tiny bulb. it's a quick fix.
i have no idea what would be causing other backlights to die. i would check the wire harness that clips into the back of each plug. if they're not fully connected, then they won't light up.

There are two separate bulbs for the hazard and clock backlight. IIRC, the hazard used to come on. Maybe the clock backlight is supposed to be on all the time (while the engine is running). If someone would check their accord and comment, I would appreciate it. Thanks.
BTW, everything is firmly connected and taking out the component is very easy so don't worry about it (just be careful).

I did some research. Go to:

OR

for more info. Based on that info, I was able to take the light assembly out and find the -VERY- small light bulb. I'll go to my dealer this week for the bulb.
