The ABS light is on in my moms car, and I know its a sensor... I just wanna know which one... so can anyone help me out here?? I shorted the diagnostic connector under the dash, and got a plethora of flashing lights... which one am I gonna be watching?

 

Did you check the brake fluid??

 

Thats fine, checked that a long time ago... its the ABS light thats on, not the "BRAKE" light (for the e-brake, or low fluid).


When I short the diagnostic connector, the check engine, ABS and the "S" light on the dash all flash independently... although the check engine light is not on normally... just the ABS.

The code must be comming from one of them??

 

Sometimes if brake fluid is low.. ABS light comes on...
Flashing "S" light = Automatic Transmission problem..
