That's what it seems like they are saying...

I just ordered some Brembo blanks and Hawk Performance pads from Tirerack to change the setup. Hope I'm not disappointed...

for pads its up to you, if you like the green stuff pads try them again they should last longer with the oem style rotors. Hawk pads, AEM, Axis are good brands as well. Driftking has the greenstuff pads and they work well with the brembo blanks.

I had EBC greenstuff on my AV6 with Brembo slotted/Cross drilled rotors, and those pads ate up my rotors. I had to have one rotor replaced after having 3 months of installing it. Also they are really noisey under regular braking conditions. IMO greenstuff is a waste of hard earned money. I wish I had EBC's number because I would call them and tell them they owe me money!!!!

Are you referring to the kinda growing "grinding" noise as you come to a complete stop from say 60mph?
If so, I feel ya. That's what is making me feel it's time to replace 'em already. I have to see what a tech says though...

green stuff is the only thing I'd put on a street car, the red stuff doesn't bite very hard when cold....reasonable, but not hard enough imho.

Make sure you've updated the bias if you've changed rotor sizes, caliper sizes, or are running different pads on front/rear. You shouldn't warp slotted/dimpled rotors with the greenstuff ones.

They do wear a little faster than stockers if used hard, but that's probably because they're being used harder than most stock pad swould have been ;o)
