Camber kit install pics
Hey fellas, for anyone who is interested, here's some pics.
My camber wasn't horrible, I milked ~25K miles out of my old 18" tires. But I can see my new ones already getting some of that dreaded inside wear, so I figured I'd give it a shot.
$140 shipped off GBC. Thanks Draccord.
I still need to do some tinkering, I went for a little test drive, and over one big dip going fast I rubbed pretty decently.
I'll sacrifice a little to lessen/eliminate the rubbing. I got used to never rubbing for almost 3 years with 18's.
I know I should get a real alignment and see where it's at, I just want to try and get it where I don't rub much, and then see where that puts me.
Anyway, here's some pics.

(that's the other side of the car btw)

personally, i would've used a pitman arm puller instead of the pickle fork. that is, if you dont' want to risk tearing up the boot.

your rear camber wasnt bad enough to wear tires... why not do the front where it actually matters, you'll also get more traction for take-off too. your tire wear problem must have been due to an alignment issue.

My Coupe on 17s sits pretty much the same as the before picture in the rear. I had a 4 wheel alignment done - they told me that there was no specs for the rear. I know somebody else has heard that before. SERIOUS inner tire wear as a result. I just had a flat to find out btw.
I got the Eibach Camber Kit and will be installing this this weekend and hope that it definately helps. I don't see how it can't! But I know alignment ain't fixin' my particular problem which seems to have been his as well...
Oh, by the way my suspension set up is really modest - H&R Sport Springs/Tokico Illumina Gas Shocks, 17" Mille Miglia Action Sports with Bridgestone Potenza RE950 215/45/R17. That's why I didn't get the camber kit to begin with. Turns out I need it on the rear wheels.
Please educate me though if I'm wrong...

But hey, I'm glad you know what my car needs and doesnt need better than me. :fawk:

SleepinTR1, glad it helped.
Yeah, man it helped. Before this post, I didn't know what the heck the kit looked like or whatever. I did my own spring/shocks install by researchin' DIYs here and there, but I'd never really seen the camber kit install. I see it's an easy thing.
You got an email address I can hit you at with any install questions? I plan to do it this weekend....
