Haha, spend enough time on here, you'll figure everything out. The seach button can narrow your scope.

H22 is the engine code for late model Honda Prelude's. It's a popular motor for those getting a new motor in an Accord due to it fitting decently well and having 200hp.

I wouldn't worry much about that for now. I'd just try and find a clean 98-99 Accord sedan. While the auto tranny's may be thought of as a bit sketchy, the motor itself is great, typical Honda workhorse that you can expect 200K+ miles out of with good maintanence.

I'm at 70K miles on my 4cyl auto 99 Accord, never had a problem. Never been into Honda once. I do all the maintanence, it's great, very easy to own and work on.

Once you get it, if you want to upgrade anything, I'd start with the suspension, that's the best bang for the buck IMO. You can make it a pretty decently handling car.

Damn, about time somebody represented the 4th gens. This thread needs more 4g love fawkers :fawk: 6g's are nice (mom my has one) and comftorable, but they are quite a bit heavier than some of the other generations. Even if you dicriminate against the 4g, and get a 6th gen, you'll still love it. Welcome to HAN.
