i'm no really going for speed...if i was, i would not have bought a honda...i go for looks and the new coupe has a nice ass.
i didn't want to learn how to drive a standard and plus automatics have better resale value.
but anyways, i'm loving my car so far <crosses finger>

Why? For 18000-19000(around the price of an Accord I4), you can get much better deals on fast cars. You don't buy a Honda for speed. Maybe if you want a project car, but if all you want is speed, you get a used 5.0 Mustang, put about $3,000 in to it and you can be running 11's and 12's all day. Or you can get the SRT-4. The new Accord is a very quick car, but by no means is it a speed demon. Its a great daily driver, a very comfortable car to drive in, definitely quick, will have easy upgradability when a turbo/SC comes out, gets great gas mileage, and looks great(IMO).
