Little O-T, but does anybody know if 9003 = H4? Thanks. BTW, the bulbs look great.

had mine for about 6 months until my right Silverstar 9005 went out. Great lightput and all...but it won't last too long. I like the pure white look, not the fake looking blue ones.

i think the only bulbs that will burn out the harness are the ones on ebay advertising at 100w

the extra 10w won't hurt anything. i think the only reason the bulbs burn out quicker than 9006's is b/c they are high beam design and aren't meant to be on for long periods of time. i'm sure they aren't as heat resistant as the 9006's are :dunno:

Actually the reason why they are burn out quicker is because they are operating at a wattage that it is not designed for. Also Silverstars have a shorter life then regular stock halogen. Its about half the life of a standard halogen light life.

9005 are also high beam light bulbs and produce alot more lumens then 9006, so the evaporation of the filament is faster even though there is xenon and other gases.
